Two-Way SMS

Two-way SMS (2-way SMS) allows a conversation to take place between two people, or a person and an application, with the conversation either initiated by the mobile user or by the application. The application can be an automated system (e.g. package delivery status checking) or a chat application being used by a person (e.g. customer services in a business). An example of a chat application that can be used to have two-way converations via SMS is webSMS. To have a two-way SMS conversation the mobile user needs to be able to send a message - either a new SMS message to start the conversation or a reply to a message they have received. The message they send needs to be sent to a number, such as a short code, Virtual Mobile Number, a number using a Virtual SIM Hosting service, or another mobile number
